I’ve just been in an accident. How soon can I bring in my vehicle?
At Prestige we understand how difficult it can be when you and your vehicle have been involved in an accident. To make things less stressful for you, we have an open door policy where you can bring in your vehicle for a free estimate, anytime between 8:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday – Friday (no appointment necessary, or Saturdays by appointment).
When bringing in your vehicle, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly, auto body repair experts, who will write up an estimate for you while explaining the steps involved in your repair. Once an estimate has been written, we’ll then have a better idea of how soon your vehicle can be scheduled for a complete repair.
How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
Let’s face it… most people depend heavily on their vehicle and dislike the inconvenience of losing access to it. This is why Prestige Auto Body works very hard at efficiently scheduling and repairing our customers’ vehicles.
Most collision repair jobs take less than a week to complete, and we can often provide a high-quality repair job in as little as three days. In fact, we’ll do everything we can, like preordering parts specific to your repair, to make sure that you get your vehicle back as soon as possible.
How good is the quality of your work?
One thing we pride ourselves on is the quality of our auto body repairs. From top-of-the line, computer-matched paint, to our expert repair technicians who apply it, we not only guarantee that your new paint job will precisely match the rest of your vehicle, we even provide a lifetime guarantee on all body and paint work (for as long as you own your vehicle).
Our technicians are also highly skilled in many other areas including bumper replacement, rust removal, classic car restoration, and much more.
What do you offer that other shops don’t?
Besides high-quality work backed by a lifetime guarantee (mentioned in the previous question), our staff makes it a goal to treat every customer in a professional and courteous manner. For example, when you walk into Prestige you enter an office instead of a garage, you’re greeted with a smile by one of our friendly staff, and you receive our full attention as we take enough time to explain the entire repair process to you.
We’ll even contact your insurance company on your behalf to make sure you’re treated fairly with the proper compensation. In a nutshell, we take really good care of our customers and their vehicles!
What if your auto body shop is not covered by my insurance?
This is one question we get asked quite often. To be honest, most insurance companies are either unaware of or misguided when they tell you that you have to go to one of their auto body shops. According to New Jersey Statute 17:33B-36.1, your insurance company must allow to take your vehicle to any auto body shop of your choosing while fully covering your vehicle’s repair. And we would be happy to contact them for you and remind them of this.
How close will the new paint match the rest of my vehicle?
We guarantee that your new paint will exactly match the rest of your vehicle. Please note that not all auto body shops can or will provide this type of guarantee. Here’s how we do it:
- First, we use a state-of-the-art computer system for matching the paint color to your vehicle’s.
- Next, we create a sample by applying the paint onto a white piece of plastic to make sure that it looks right.
- Finally, our expert technicians review and repeat this process as needed to get a perfect match.
Do you offer any type of guarantee?
Yes, we do. Not only do we guarantee that your new paint will exactly match the rest of your vehicle’s (as explained in the question above), we also provide a lifetime guarantee (in writing) for the body and paint work we did on your vehicle. We’re able to offer such a solid guarantee since we’re very confident in the caliber of our work and level of expertise.
Do you work on all makes and models?
Absolutely. We service all makes and models, whether they are historic or brand new. To put it simply, we love what we do and take great pride in our work.
